Episode 30：The Hero of the South
Episode Summary：
In a village in the northern lands, Frieren’s party are hired to polish a statue of a hero. The statue is not of Himmel but of the Hero of the South, once said to be humanity’s strongest. Frieren recalls what happened when she met the Hero of the South. Later, while visiting the castle town in Graf Dach’s domain, Frieren’s party are asked to retrieve a treasured sword from a demon.

📖 Synopsis：
After ten long years of adventuring, the mage Frieren alongside the hero Himmel and his party members has defeated the Demon Lord and brought peace to the world.
As an elf that can live for more than a thousand years, Frieren went to travel alone, with a promise that she would reunite with Himmel and the others later on.
50 years later, Frieren visited Himmel. However, in contrast to her being no different from how she was 50 years ago, Himmel has aged a lot and doesn’t have long to live.
A short time later, after seeing Himmel passes away before her own eyes, she finally realizes that she has never made any effort to “understand people.”
With that regret, Frieren heads on a journey to “understand people.”
On her journey, she will meet with all kinds of people and deal with all kinds of things.

Ah i think i understand the temptations that frieren mentioned is because the demons basically really proficient with their silver tongues
I don't know what's terrifying, knowing how much left you have to live and how your life ends or knowing that you won't be able to experience peace in your lifetime. But still that Chad of the South is really a gigachad, it's terrifying to have the ability on seeing the future and knowing everything about yourself in the future, your death and what happens next but still he doesn't left the path that he needs to take despite knowing it will lead to his own demise, maybe because he knows that either of the path he take it will still lead to his death or that he really doesn't have a way out of it but he still goes on despite his initial thought that his legacy will just be buried by the heroes that will follow after him which is the only prediction that turns out wrong from him.
How does a Future Sight wielder fight another Future Sight wielder?
They force a draw.
That's what the Hero of the South did. That's what he meant. He could see the future, and this was the path he could best choose. One where it forced Schlacht and the Seven Sages to come out to beat him. There was a good chance Schlacht knew that the Hero of the South shared the same power, so both parties played their hands with the most optimal outcome.
The demons removed the strongest human.
The Hero crippled the demons singlehandedly enabling an age of peace.
