Honestly, I have no idea why did they even keep Albireo around considered how badly butchered this entire fight is and also the fact the anime skipped Santa arc which means Albireo doesn't have a rival to fight against in the anime. At least Rakan still got to fight Karin even if 80% of his screentime were skipped in the entire anime.
