I like the show but i dont like anymore harem anime.
Someone asked back in episode 1 if people are gonna continue or drop this. I chose to continue back then but between then and now, I've watched a bunch of other isekais all somehow with similar tropes (hero+harem of women party members all besotted by him) and realized how overused it is. The premise is always interesting and/or relaxing but this trope always seems to be present no matter what.
I've gotten pretty tired of it so even though this one is one of the better ones within anime tied down by this trope, I've gotten tired of how overused it is (I dont want to assume but its almost like they don't care abt character building and just took this gimmicky shortcut so they can make a quick buck) and have decided to drop this for now. Might pick it up again after I've stopped for a while and have gotten less tired of it.
But man, it just goes to show how different the levels of these otaku-serving gimmicky anime are compared to Mushoku Tensei, which is made with so much respect and love for not just world-building and storytelling itself, but also its characters.
