Episode Summary：
A semi-annual social gathering is being held at Eden College. The venue, where VIPs, the scholarship students and their parents, gather, is on high alert, with no intruders allowed. Meanwhile, Damian has sent word to his brother that he wants to meet his father, who is visiting the gathering. When Loid learns of this father-son rendezvous, he uses Damian to gain access to his target.

I didnt read the manga but it really seems like Damian's father can read minds. Like Damian was thinking to himself: "Get angry for my sake" at 15:41. His father literally flared his nose showing his anger.

According to Melinda, if Donovan can indeed read minds, he definitely knows that Twilight is a spy but he doesn’t know about Operation Strix (yet).
This means in the future if there’s any opportunity Twilight or his family to get close to him, he will be more alert and even distance himself strategically.
So yeah the operation pretty much toasted unless of course like some people said, maybe his ability has limitations and thus he didn’t grasp Twilight’s mind fully during the conversation.
As of chapter 127, there isn’t anything major from Donovan’s side yet and it will probably take some time for his ability to be revealed.
