  1. Translator's note:

The narration at 15:19 references Futago no Hoshi (The Twin Stars) by Kenji Miyazawa, a well-known Japanese children's fairy tale about two stars who watch over the night sky. Meanwhile, the narration at 18:02 references Yodaka no Hoshi (The Nighthawk Star), another famous Miyazawa story about an ugly nighthawk who ultimately becomes a star.

Moegi's name, 萌黄 (moegi), is a traditional color term meaning yellow-green, likely reflecting her hair color.

However, as a personal interpretation, moe may also evoke moeru (to burn), while 黄 means yellow or golden. In that sense, the name can suggest a desire to burn brightly. Because Moegi often identifies with the nighthawk in Miyazawa's story, the name can be read as loosely echoing the image of a burning golden star in the night sky. *This interpretation is speculative and simply my own reading.*

  2. Spoiler Alert.

Almost a full episode of 2 characters that won't even live long in few more episodes. Insane how the anime gave this much attention than the manga.

  3. 23:30 I don't want to spoil anything, but I'm so confused 😭. When Yuki's master described the traitor's physical appearance, it sounded like Moegi's master. Does this mean that Moegi's master is in the game with them on the Bunny team???? If that's true, damn! I need to rewatch the previous episode because I didn't even notice the resemblance for any foreshadowing 💀.
