📖 Synopsis：
What makes you game?
For every 100 amazing games, there are a thousand that are pure crap.
This is the story of Rakuro Hizutome, a man who loves, and is loved by, crappy video games,
and his journey in the world of Shangri-La Frontier, one of the greatest video games of all time.
The original web novel has over 500 million pageviews,
and is unique in that a manga adaptation was begun before the web novel story was released in print.
It also has the honor of being the first manga in Shonen Magazine’s sixty-plus years of history to win the quadruple reader survey crown!
Shangri-La Frontier takes gaming experiences that everyone can relate to and uses them to create an entirely new type of fantasy story.
It’s a story that will bring new adventure and excitement to both adults who can relive their old memories, and young people at the forefront of technology.
The ultimate “Game x Fantasy” story,
about a “crappy game hunter” who challenges one of the greatest games ever made!

About the Author
One day left for the next ep, yay:D
the best arc of all in the entire story
dam i need the next episode
YES MY FAVE PART FROM THE MANGA IS COMING SOON
NEXT EPS OR TWO PLSS
Sunraku: And that's how I met your mother…
I feel like Sunraku decided to be like Ghost from Call of Duty (Like keeping his face a secret)
Ranzo = ISSHIN ASHINA?!?! I'd like to think they based Ranzo on Isshin. White hair, same voice actor, old, everything!!!!
HERO ARCH LETS GOOOO
Holy shit I love how they used halftone for the shading in-game it looks so clean
LETS GO FINALLY, MY BOY CURSED PRISON LOOKS SO DOPEEEEEEE
Prison Breaker vs. Metius!!
Yo can we get an IRL Version of Actual Shang Ri La Frontier. Lets make it happen. Seriously.
That gauge defintely remind me of game called Infamous and it's mechanic gauge look like from that game
that Sunraku really want to cover his face
5:48 Now, That's what you called a PRO GAMING MOVE. Effin DARTH VADER.
Is that the mask from borderlands? Btw the music and build up scene is perfect
6:02 "sorry babe the Mask stays on" type shi😂😂😂😂
8:30 bro is not "Darth Vader"😂😂😂
Oh! They're playing Marvel Vs Capcom now haha
I like that there's a dotted poster effect in the game mimicking Western comics.
damn, the meeting with Towa was actually much more funny than in manga HAHAH I couldn't stop laughing
he should've used darth vader helmet or eyeglass as a disguise instead lol
Ohh… Pencilgon armpits
i was avoiding this anime back then because of the weird chinese kind of title and that bird mask..3 days ago I started to have the mood to watch random anime and now finally i click on this video…I hope this mood never ends because damn these random anime actually good af
18:56 MY GOAT
i still love how Sunraku is portrayed as an actual middle class child here
he is just as flabbergasted as anyone stepping in a 5 star hotel
10:15 As a fighting game player, I would say this is literally impossible, but again, it's a full-dive VR game where you have complete control over your character rather than being stuck with a select moveset and have to play RPS and 50-50s with your opponent like in "retro" fighting games.
12:27 WAIT SO IT'S MAHVEL VR?!?!
