Episode Summary：
Sunraku reunited with the #1 player in Nephilim Hollow, with whom he had a tie in the past. However, their long-awaited rematch ended with Sunraku’s defeat. 📖 Synopsis：
What makes you game?
For every 100 amazing games, there are a thousand that are pure crap.
This is the story of Rakuro Hizutome, a man who loves, and is loved by, crappy video games,
and his journey in the world of Shangri-La Frontier, one of the greatest video games of all time.
The original web novel has over 500 million pageviews,
and is unique in that a manga adaptation was begun before the web novel story was released in print.
It also has the honor of being the first manga in Shonen Magazine’s sixty-plus years of history to win the quadruple reader survey crown!
Shangri-La Frontier takes gaming experiences that everyone can relate to and uses them to create an entirely new type of fantasy story.
It’s a story that will bring new adventure and excitement to both adults who can relive their old memories, and young people at the forefront of technology.
The ultimate “Game x Fantasy” story,
about a “crappy game hunter” who challenges one of the greatest games ever made!

About the Author
8:11 He's about to experience Evo Moment #37 'Let's go Justin!' lmao
lmao they literally cast Tomo and Jun VAs as Rust and Mordo voices.
Got pretty invested in today's episode. I love it!
wtf is that off-meta build? 😭
filler arc
THE PEAK OF GAMER ANIME just a masterpiece
Production team : How much budget you all need?
Animator : Yessssss
Meta build:❌
Unorthodox build: ✅
i love and hate this episode
love the mecha
hate that rust+mordo are rank 1 because mordo can see the enemy screen ,movement and tell that rust. a cheater ranking 1 is insane
Just when I thought that SLF is the best, they introduce a side game with as much action, ahahah
this is amazing, they dont focus in 1 game! those who love mecha genre loved this episode
They really gotta stop edging people man😭😭😭
this is better than SAO
8:12 remember guys…this is not your typical anime😭

that mech is like a teaser for the tournament arc
THE GOAT
Damn that cliffhanger
done grinding in genshin, now lets go to gundam game
Tskk .. all this time waiting for month only for this ?
Brings the Armored Core VI's ghost unit fighting the highly mobile light builds
wonder if its possible in real life. for that kind of game console
Crabs are unpredictable.
Why did bro sounded like kugisaki when she said "your not getting away" 😮
Definitely my pick for top anime of 2024. If not the best
this anime turn from shangrila frontier to nephilim saga WP
Rip aninators
The budget🥲
23 JANUARY 2025 17:07
This episode looked low budgeted
Why do I have a feeling he get the inspiration from the Scorpion crystal
I can't imagine the amount of time and budget these animators had to blow to spare for all these assets and concept designs while maintaining quality for this anime. Glad to see that the industry isn't dead.
Him on other game feels like fillers.
The robot sci-fi game. I would want to be an anime
Imagine being a legend that everyone knows you from different games
oh crab that some nitpicking part!
the characters looks like from gundam lmao
Noice. I guess Sunraku actually has old maiden after him… Since way back?? 😅😅😅
Woah it turned into Evangelion haha
You know what? Hizutome should probably be a YouTuber
Why no one notices this episode just ripoff from aot😂😂
2 vs. 1—how cheap. No wonder they're no. 1.
wouldn't it be a cheat since mordo is helping her out?
