Episode Summary：
Subaru is caught searching for Meili’s missing corpse and finds himself imprisoned in a cage of ice. He desperately pleads that he has amnesia, but Ram remains convinced he is an impostor. The misunderstanding persists, and she knocks him unconscious with wind magic. When Subaru eventually wakes up, he is somehow outside of the cage. What’s worse, the surrounding walls are now completely covered with the words “Natsuki Subaru was here.” As Subaru reels from this series of inexplicable events, Reid Astrea—who shouldn’t be able to leave the second floor—stands waiting behind him.

📖 Synopsis：
Subaru and his allies barely win the brutal battle in the Watergate City of Pristella, but at a high price. Rem remains in an endless sleep due to the Authority of Gluttony, Crusch’s memories are still missing, and Julius has lost his very name.
In the midst of searching for a solution, Subaru learns of the all-knowing Sage Shaula. They set their sights on the Pleiades Watchtower, where the Sage resides. The lone tower stands at the edge of the vast Augria Sand Dunes, a deadly desert even the strongest Sword Saint, Reinhard, could not conquer.
Fierce terrain, unknown witchbeasts, and unimaginable threats stand in their path. Together with his companions, Subaru begins another perilous journey, staking his life to reclaim everything taken from him.

In anime there are many confession scenes, many "I believe in you" scenes. But when the whole plot has been built up in this manner, these scenes actually mean so much more.
In anime there are many flashback scenes, but when Emilia talks about Subaru's journey with her, you can't help but remember how far Subaru has come.
When you look at each individual episode, there aren't a lot of flashy fighting scenes. There are even lesser "cool MC" scenes. But when the whole story comes together like that, man Subaru is hella cool.
Edit: Also, I can't help but parallel this scene to Rem's confession. If I remember it right, it was the turning point for Natsuki – and I believe it will be the same here.
