  1. paul….ur projecting ur own failures to ur own 11 yr old son……
just because u couldn’t do it…..dont blame ur 11 yr old son for not being able to…..

  2. paul is literally the worst father, havent seen your son in years and finally reunited and this is the first thing you say to him? damn… if i was rudy i wouldve been pissed too.

  3. Yeah, rudy doesnt know that the calamity also affected his family. Other than that, the only mistake that he did was not realizing/reading Paul's announcement on every adventurer guild

  4. Rudy just didn't expect that mana calamity that big, he thought just around him, but paul has too much expectation that he forget at the end rudy still a child from other pov

  5. First of all how the hell would he have known to go to Zanto Port first? Its his first time becoming an adventurer and NO ONE taught him. He taught himself damn it. Second is that him, eris, and ghislaine was the FIRST people to get teleported so they would have NO KNOWLEDGE on how big the calamity actually was. Third it's not like that kind of calamity is a common occurrence to the point that he would've known about so literally had NO KNOWLEDGE AT ALL. Fourth, it doesn't matter if he was an adult at soul, HE'S FROM ANOTHER FUCKING WORLD

  6. faults of a child being considered as a prodigy too young the burden is too much they'd be groomed into believeing they were born to carry the weight one slip and it'd be themselves they would end up blaming as a result of all they had being fed growing up as for the opposite one would end up being too irresponsible free of thinking to do about their duties here Rudeus is a mixture of the two the world seeing him as the former while deep inside he always thought of himself as the later one of my fav isekai archetypes Natsuki Subaru falls under that too

  7. Paul got too nearsighted because of the fact that his son is a genius and was more matured than his peers. He forgot that Rudeus is still young and doesn't have the experience to make decisions like an adult would(Well technically Rudeus is 40 but he didn't really know anything since he was a hikkikomori). Paul is talking to Rudeus mostly like an adult talks to another adult.

  8. L comment section fr.

This is how you wrote great story, you take two characters personality and clashing them. This time it's father and son dynamics. Nobody is at faults, the author just wants to experiment how these characters would have reacted to it + the circumstances they're currently in, and the results is beautiful, sometimes, it even resonates with the viewer. Probably because they relate into it, or maybe they're so invested into the story -and that profound effect to the viewers is what makes this scene beautiful. The cherry on top is how Norn reaction to all of this + how these short scenes actually develop her characters later on. This is absolute peak holy shit.

  9. For those who didn't notice, the fight between Paul and Rudeus in this episode ran parallel to their past wooden sword fight back at the Buena Village estate.

Massive props to the animation team for this sequence. They didn't just recycle choreography; they deliberately mirrored Paul's aggressive stance and rushing tactics to show that he was fighting with lethal seriousness. The fluid weight of Paul’s swordsmanship and the frantic pacing of Rudeus’s silent-casting perfectly capture the desperation of the moment. It is a masterclass in using subtle visual continuity to deliver a massive emotional punch.

  10. to be honest both side are wrong either way its an misunderstanding of both father and son, to be one sided in this kind of argument is a waste of time. Paul was having an hard time losing his wife he is grieving and bombarded with a sudden emotion of a man who lost his wife and also the sudden appearance of his son that no one knows whether its alive and how he isn't aware of what's happening to the long journey he been through. Rudeus meanwhile unaware of this news as he travel to survive to unknown places in an overgrown child-man let us not forget how he is busy to survive and do a side quest instead of trying understand the current happening of a sudden teleportation they have been to. he have the capacity to know why in every city he walk into. but Paul action reaction was too heavy of emotion expecting his son to know already was happening. Rudeus was to care free he forgot to understand everything as well throughout his own adventure. basically both of them are bad at communication the literal outburst emotion of man was highlight. both are wrong either way and ofc its for the sake of plot as well😬😮‍💨

  11. Eris is so… into Rudeus… She realized that Rudeus was so weak due to his Father, but now what she will do? kill Paul? for the sake of Rudeus.

Im not comparing but can the 2 other wives react like that if they switch places?
