  1. What a thrilling episode! The tension between the mages is palpable as they face off in the exam, each showcasing their unique skills and abilities.

  2. Wilber’s eyes are his most valuable asset. From the very beginning, he noticed everything, using his vision with skill, observation and expressing emotion.

  3. Denken remain quiet when frieren says that first-class mage is nothing but title and no more. Even though denken himself says that it doesn't worth killling for it. It means he did think it isn't worth killing, but definitely not just title that does nothing for achiever. SPOILER

His wife died from illness just before first-class mage privilege was established. He says that, and I could feel his hopelessness upon what if scenario. If the privilege was established earlier, if his wife could live a little longer, if he could just meet serie instead relying on the empire. Grief stays and never really disappear, and I feel such grief from denken.

  4. The way wirbel said that he was never run away from necessary killing. I wonder, did they truly massacre the child soldiers. Common sense would says it was unnecessary killiing. I do hope the subtle context really mean he didn't kill them.
