Episode Summary：
Maple is conquering the seventh event with Sally. They climb up the tower-shaped dungeon where the terrain changes on each floor. However, the fifth floor has ghost-type monsters. The rest of Maple’s guild, including Krom, are conquering the dungeon separately. They are also worried about Sally, who cannot deal with horror. As some are scared, other high-level players such as Payne and Mii are also making steady progress in conquering the tower. Then, when Maple and Sally finally reach the top floor, what appears in front of them is…

🔍Synopsis：
Maple is obsessed with the VRMMO game “NewWorld Online”.
She assigned all her points to defense, and at the beginning of the game, it seemed that she would have to spend a lot of time to get good. However, she has acquired several vicious skills; what unfolded was she trampling down the enemies again and again!
Her extraordinary gaming style led to her becoming a famous player who is treated as the “Last Boss”.
The guild [Maple Tree], which she set up with her best friend Sally, also gathered a group of unique and reliable friends, and their unity was further strengthened.
And then…
A new floor has been updated in “NewWorld Online”!
She joins forces with former rivals, makes new friends, and even holds new events?!
Here, too, Maple and her friends are sure to go on the rampage…?

I think I kinda feel like what the game developers are feeling for Maple, I mean it's quite kinda unfair and they can't nerf the defense since it'll also nerf for others who go to defence class.

The level 10 really reminds me of the scene in season 1 when they're fighting a bird with ice power and thats also where they got their pet it really feels deja vu when she says " I'll always protect you " i really love their friendship so much like even irl they're really close ❤❤❤
I always love when the anime just showed this duo together. That fight remind me of that bird boss fight in season 1, really tough and entertaining with a lot of action,skills and decision making show by the duo. Yet, despite all this, Sally's power still remain a mystery, I still think she still have a lot of things hiding.

For those who are curious about the differences from the novel, the Christmas presents in S02E01 did not give them cute outfits. The presents granted iced themed skills and this is Maple got the flash freeze skill and Sally got the ice pillars skill.
