What I don’t like is how much they glaze Armin. Erwin also makes insane decisions, but the show never forces you to believe he’s a high-IQ character — his actions speak for themselves. With Armin, even when his judgments aren’t that great, the anime still pushes the narrative that he’s a genius. It always frames his moments as ‘brilliant’ while making everyone else look dumb, even characters like Erwin. That contrast is annoying
