This anime is no joke when it comes to storytelling, and how they show the emotions of the characters… This is such a Masterpiece👍🏼

These things are really true, especially when you're in high school. You're more passionate than ever and then they started recently and passed you. What a terrible feeling. You want to feel happy for them but it's annoying.
That girl wrote BODY TALK*, the one Ibara just refers as one level beneath A Corpse by Evening. Ibara frustates over the excellence of A Corpse by Evening and says a *Masterpiece is born a Masterpiece*. At the end they all learned something valuable. Satoshi realised Houtarou's True potential, how much it pains to face a reality when your best friend outmatches you in a field you are desperately trying to master and find your place in the world with it when *HE is not even trying 😅
I feel a little sad for Satoshi but glad he realises and moves on calmly instead of sinking into darkness and depression like most people would go
This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I've rewatched Hyouka but this is the first time I understood this arc and it made me burst into tears lol. It's just so relatable

This anime is a masterpiece what a revelation, also did my girl chitanda dirty by keeping her in the dark.
What Mayaka said about even if you don't usually read a serious work but once you read it you will understand, it hits me hard.
I don't usually enjoy mystery. The most I watch/read is Detective Conan (even that is not because of the mysteries). But, this mystery genre anime named Hyouka is different. I can proudly say that Hyouka is my favorite anime of all time.

When Oreki guessed what Tanabe-senpai wanted to ask Kugeyama and Tanabe just mouthed the exact same words. Goosebumps 😩
Every time I rewatch this god damn masterpiece, I learned something that I didn't knew from the previous rewatch I did. The fact that Tanabe's message, was really received by Muneyoshi at the end and knew who Juumonji really was. And Ayaka being the author of Body Talk which Mayaka said "it was good too!" and cried because he felt bad saying "A Corpse by Evening" is a masterpiece in front of her [Ayako] the author and a manga enthusiast that feel "inferior" to his friend [Haruna] that didn't have any interest on mangas but created such masterpiece.

Mayaka feels inferior to Haruna and Ayako, while Ayako feels inferior to Haruna

The Sekitani-jun Arc and Kanya Festival Arc will always be my top arc of this series, I will always cherish this masterpiece, and as I love to recommend this masterpiece to someone… It would take serious time and understanding to truly appreciate this masterpiece and finding someone like that would be rare. So yeah, this is my 10th rewatch and still feels like it's the first time I watched it, but with new learnings and discoveries.

Skill can also mean "talent" in that context, and the fact that in real life it was more prominent. When you're always looking up to that someone and that no matter how much you try you just can't beat them. Because in attempt to beat a prodigy, you do double or even triple the effort just to compensate from their "natural/born" talent. Oreki shadowing Satoshi is one of the great example

My father gave me a sudoku puzzle present when I was 14 years old. It had 4 difficulty beginner, intermediate, hard and extreme. Each section had 125 puzzles. It took me 1 week to solve beginner, 2 months to solve intermediate, more than a year to solve hard and several months to solve just 1 extreme puzzle. One day I came from school and saw my sister solving the puzzle and saw her solving more than 15 of the extreme puzzles in less than an hour. Remind you she doesn't know anything about sudoku, She casually commented "They are quite easy". I was devastated, frustrated and cried so much that I don't even remember when I fell sleep. After that day, I get trauma whenever I see sudoku puzzles. Those with talent are too brilliant and a disaster to those who don't have talent.

I hope atleast mayaka understand this. Masterpiece also has expectations. It not a pattern or code or something like that. It just happens without you even noticing it happens. You hurt your friends, your family, your loves once due to it. They all grow impossible expectations of you and your every other work is gets jusdged only by that standard. It becomes a curse, a burdon that you just keep carrying all your life while all those friends, families and loves once attitude towards you changes now. Even in other matters they have very high expectations of you and no normal again. You just get defined by that cursed Masterpiece all your life while you don't even knew you could have done it alone without them. And that thing gets called Masterpiece when all you have done is combining the pieces in right order with those people and afterwards nobody sticks around for it. You first do it for their sake. To maintain their friendship, their love, their curiosity just to see they become jelous and envious of you and grow distance between us. Satoshi, mayakasan don't see the product as the only valueable thing. The subject is important too. The moments you spend, you are not a abnormal once. You are those who have been given a normal life and you have been the reason of others life shining too. Without you their is nothing more important more precious in this world. Because their is no Masterpiece if its alone, eh!! If its the only one whom could you comapare it with. I know you will not get it, now but aometimes even gold hopes if he doesn't get shined so brightly and could live peacefully among other metals as well.
