Episode Summary：
Subaru and friends welcome Meili as an ally. They suspect his memory loss was caused by the tower, and decide to prioritize clearing the tests. Their next stop is the library to find Reid’s book of the dead and use it as a guide for defeating him. On the way, Subaru exchanges a few words with Julius, who has yet to pick himself back up. Afterward, when Subaru reads Reid’s book, what spreads out before his eyes is the soul’s final destination: the cradle of Od Lagna. And in the Hall of Memories, a young girl steps forward to greet him.

📖 Synopsis：
Subaru and his allies barely win the brutal battle in the Watergate City of Pristella, but at a high price. Rem remains in an endless sleep due to the Authority of Gluttony, Crusch’s memories are still missing, and Julius has lost his very name.
In the midst of searching for a solution, Subaru learns of the all-knowing Sage Shaula. They set their sights on the Pleiades Watchtower, where the Sage resides. The lone tower stands at the edge of the vast Augria Sand Dunes, a deadly desert even the strongest Sword Saint, Reinhard, could not conquer.
Fierce terrain, unknown witchbeasts, and unimaginable threats stand in their path. Together with his companions, Subaru begins another perilous journey, staking his life to reclaim everything taken from him.

Some LN Extra Details (Volume 24 Chapter 2.6-3.5)
– Emilia asked if Subaru not scared of half-elf, even after losing his memory, but because Subaru does not have the same disposition this world has on her race, he just said more like `scary cute`, making Emilia blushed.
– Even after they found Reid's book, they still not sure what are the pattern or the order the book is sorted there.
– After being encouraged by Rem, Subaru somewhat feels as if his heart is being purified, not wanting to let go of single things to slip away from him, even himself. Thus he activated Cor Leonis, a fickle factor breed from his cowardly Greed.
– Louis also callled Lye and Roy, Gourmet and Garbage, because one is picky eater and another eats everything.
– She also mentioned since he is there the second time, the brothers have noticed and known where his location actually is, and would want to get a taste of him as well.
Differences from LN
– In the LN, the moment is mostly focused on the Hallway of Memories, but the anime tries to cover both inside and outside situation at the same time, though the focus is still more on inside.
Self Note
– Wow, this is one of the rare full 29 minute episode without OP and ED we got for Re:Zero. It has been quite awhile since we got this.
– The OST moment with Rem kinda reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles for some reason lol.
– At first, I thought Inori Minase voicing Rem might have been a bit different since it's quite awhile since she last voiced her, but the moment she said `Because you're my hero`, I was like `Yup, that's the Rem voice i knew.`.
– Crazy that we found another place where it is out of Witch of Envy's access (the first being Echidna's Castle of Dreams). I wonder if his `Return By Death` is somewhat affected as well if he died there.
– Subaru's new power might be explained more in the next episode, so i'll leave it at that for now.
– There is actually a lot of monologue in this part, but i'm not good on covering that part, and it is not too important. So i'll let someone else cover that part if it is important.
