i don't think mayuko and ushio are distant relative, 'cause the 2nd and 3rd oyakume are not reincarnated of jie mei… they already born and adult when jie mei met them… the 2nd oyakume and ushio's mother choose by jie mei to continue being oyakume… yuki san is the real reincarnation of jie mei. if you can see the look of jie mei, yuki san and mayuko all of them are sharing the same look, and color of hair. being OYAKUME the HIZAKI name will continue using after the another one and pass by generation to generation. and i think they only related 'cause ushio's mother (whos currently position is being 3RD OYAKUME) and mayuko are sharing the same power was originated by yuki-san whose jie mei reincarnation.
