📖 Synopsis：
Subaru and his allies barely win the brutal battle in the Watergate City of Pristella, but at a high price. Rem remains in an endless sleep due to the Authority of Gluttony, Crusch’s memories are still missing, and Julius has lost his very name.
In the midst of searching for a solution, Subaru learns of the all-knowing Sage Shaula. They set their sights on the Pleiades Watchtower, where the Sage resides. The lone tower stands at the edge of the vast Augria Sand Dunes, a deadly desert even the strongest Sword Saint, Reinhard, could not conquer.
Fierce terrain, unknown witchbeasts, and unimaginable threats stand in their path. Together with his companions, Subaru begins another perilous journey, staking his life to reclaim everything taken from him.

This scene is similar to SS2 EP10, when Subaru and Emilia woke up in the Sanctuary. Both of them were hurting in their own ways (Emilia's trials and Subaru's RBD). Yet Emilia pushed her own pain aside and immediately tried to comfort Subaru. Emilia really is EMT. 💜
Easily the best episode of the season yet. This might as well be top 5 in the entire series. The voice acting, the gore, the face expression, the ost, everything. Absolutely phenomenal episode. The last 5 minutes is absolutely perfect. This feels like episode 1 but on steroids.
2:20 Emilia was worried that Subaru might change, but she felt happy and blushed when he asked for her name. It reminded her of the first time they met, when Subaru asked her the same question. That moment reassured her that, despite everything, Subaru hadn't changed. 💜🧡
6:18 The nickname "Emilia-tan" that Subaru often uses means a lot to Emilia. 😭
10:46 Emilia is using the leadership skills she learned from her sweet knight Subaru to ease tension. She is really amazing.

This brings me back to the episode where I got hooked on to re:zero in the first place. When he was working in the mansion for the first time, and he died without knowing who killed him – anyone in the mansion could have been his enemy. Right now anyone in the group could have also killed him. I don't get why Ram is unnecessarily harsh to him though? Didn't he do so much for her over the past arcs? He might not remember but she should.
The next mystery is who keeps pushing Subaru down the stairs? Initially I thought it might be Ram, but after Meili said that the past Subaru was careless + I realised I don't see her in the last scene in the library either – I think it might be her who is trying to kill Subaru
