Episode 01：Ippon!
Episode Summary：
Michi Sonoda and Sanae Takigawa, members of the Aoba Middle School Judo Club, are preparing for their final middle school match. Michi decides to quit judo for good and declares, “I’ll win this quick by an ippon!” However, the result is the exact opposite: she gets thrown by her opponent’s stranglehold, and a close-up of her fainted face at that moment is tragically spread on the internet… Nine months later, Michi and Sanae are admitted to Aoba West High School, having passed their entrance examinations.

🔍Synopsis：
I’m so through with judo! I just want to live my bittersweet three years of high school with a boyfriend.
When I got sunburnt, my skin would rub against my judo uniform and hurt a lot, and when I tried doing a ground grappling technique, my hair would fall out all over the place. Not to mention the harsh mid-winter training, the nosebleeds, the broken bones, and fainting every time. I couldn’t get stronger even with all that, so I decided to just quit.
So please… don’t remind me of this again, will you? The good feeling of getting a score, an “ippon”.

Old school "Student Life" anime.
This one is a rare DIAMOND among a trashy anime (especialy those generic isekai fan service genre) we have to bear with nowaday.
People after seeing this anime title:
Ippon again.
Filipino after seeing this anime title:

Not really interested in Judo but damn. This caught my attention
Holy !! This is unbelievably good! The pace, the joke, the action, movement, subtle meaning!
Eyyy this anime looks good! Glad I gave this a try! 😀
I love judo and I've wanted to learn it. It's just that judo is absent in my country. Glad to see an anime about it. :>
Even though it was cringe at beginning …it was overall noice
NEW GAME!
What the hell is wrong with that glass girl.. all she said was give up and it's impossible
Finally an all girls anime that don't have to do with Yuri to appeal to the audience.
So much muse Asia for creating new anime series 🙂💗
It's JUDO!! YES

An anime like this is so rare nowadays. What a gem.
Before watching this anime l was thinking to quit the JUDO but now lam motivated
-The backgrounds and foley design are legit holy crap
-The intro already feels like the typical ending of this anime genre so im looking forward to see how diffrent it becomes.

I love anime about school life with sport and aim to interhigh tournament
the eyeglass girl got on my nerve that quick
Hope it's not gay.
They're doing jiu jitsu.
I dont have much idea about Judo but Im a Karateka. And this anime is still relatable
Yung may gusto ka sana bilhin kaso naubos mo na Pera mo sa pagkain…

Title: Ippon again!
Filipinos: Lol
She said the thing and is the very first line <(OoO)>
I can't believe it!
Now I need Mabataki Yori Hayaku anime. It's about girls and karate. It has similar vibe with Ippon but more drama (mostly between family and trying to be better). Also, their fight is mostly serious. Every character has backstory, getting bully, force to stop karate, jealousy and so many things.
I legit have rewatched this anime till finish multiple times. Definitely one of my most favourite anime ever.
I don't kbow about this anime what this is the buf if its like romcom anime or comedy then it is good uf it was heartbroken anime Like you know i kind kf don't like that anyway let's see what this got

Looking back to this anime again, after the manga hits the last chapter some times ago.
