Episode Summary：
Rose’s men and the Demon Lord’s Army cross swords in the “Darkness of Llinger.” Just as Rose and her men manage to gain the upper hand, Nero, a general of the Demon Lord’s Army, orders his own men to attack without concern for their own lives. One by one, Rose’s men are killed as they take each other out. Nero continues to relentlessly attack Rose, who is fraught with anger and has lost her composure.

📖Synopsis：
Ken Usato is an ordinary high school student. On his way home from school, he is swallowed up by a magic circle along with student council president Suzune Inukami and his classmate Kazuki Ryusen. The next thing they know, they find themselves in another world. The three of them were summoned as “heroes” to fight against the Demon Lord’s army that’s invading the kingdom. However, it turns out that only Suzune and Kazuki have what it takes to become heroes. Usato was just summoned by accident! The situation changes drastically when it is discovered that Usato has an aptitude for “healing magic.” Rose, the leader of the Rescue Squad, appears and takes Usato away by force. What awaits Usato is a hellish training regimen beyond anything he could have ever imagined!

god… this anime is underrated but the scene where rose still get ptsd and remembers her squad… causing me almost to tear up… This is just different… almsot different than generic isekai fantasy anime. Here instead of making the experienced supporting character being a badass all the time they also give her her own flaws and weakness like ptsd. Now that's a good writing there

this anime is so underrated…it's an isekai that understands human. very mature. not afraid to leave nuances in the story. bold to explore stories and characters aside from the main character. it makes the world feel so immersive and alive. a watch that i came expecting a shallow depth characters. but no. each characters are lovable and relatable.

The edginess hits so weakly. Real life war was so much fouler. Slavery, crippling of the peasantry, throwing rotting corpses, poop covered arrows, defecating in wells, heck just trade embargos and attacking any that would dare trade with the demons while scorch earth raiding said demons would've been the norm.
Remember that a baby formula company once sent out just enough baby formula to stop nursing and started a de facto infanticide to capture a 3rd world market. That wasn't even a war and the stakes were so much lower and this anime treats this fight like its so dark. YOU, the person reading this have beem complicit in worse in peace time.
If you were to think of this as boring, effectively, efficiently and practically, the healing squad would be a behind enemy lines raiding squad.
They're fast, strong, nearly indestructible and have immense stealth compared to the more common magics used. They'd be harassing the demon supply lines and starving them by setting fires everywhere and then defending the blaze. I would pay good money to see a more grounded version of this anime where they get special forces training and act like real life commandos. The healing squads offense wouldn't need to be that strong, they just need to go in there and destroy key objectives and then run out.
I thought this was gonna be just another anime squad death that will pass by, I did not expect to cry like this. The delivery of this anime is such great expression, we need more meaningful stories like this.
