Episode Summary：
After Subaru is engulfed in a dark torrent that floods Pristella, he wakes up to find Priscilla and Liliana by his side. They inform him that Capella of the Witch Cult has issued new demands through a city-wide broadcast via the meteor system. Enraged by this news, Subaru vows to bring the cultists to justice. Priscilla, impressed by his resolve, offers him a reward. However, a grotesque demibeast appears right after and attacks.

A year has passed since the liberation of the Sanctuary, where Subaru Natsuki repelled Elza’s deadly attack and forged a contract with Beatrice in their battle against the Great Rabbit. Now united, Emilia’s faction enjoys peaceful and fulfilling days while preparing for the Royal Selection. However, these quiet days come to an end when an emissary arrives with a fateful letter.
It was an invitation to the Water Gate City of Priestella—one of the five great cities of Lugnica—sent by Anastasia to Emilia, from one royal candidate to another. They accept and head for Priestella, where they soon encounter several reunions—one unexpected, one coincidental, and one fated.
As evil stirs and unprecedented crises loom beneath the surface, Subaru Natsuki is about to confront yet another harsh fate.
